Read what they have to say.

lilly lane was founded in 2007 by Becky Ruby, an Indianapolis-based, Chicago-raised entrepreneur with a love for all things creative. Following her graduation from Butler University, Becky worked as a fundraiser and event planner in the nonprofit industry, where she found herself routinely designing centerpieces for events and enjoying the challenge of creating on a budget.  When a friend contacted her for assistance in creating wedding flowers, she readily agreed- and embarked on what would become a dream career. Leaving her 9-5 job in 2009 and never looking back, Becky has found her passion in the art of creating fabulous florals and is absolutely in love with “the job I never knew I was always meant to do!”

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What is your process for meeting with new clients?
Based on the size and scope of your event, lilly lane will schedule an initial phone or in-person meeting to discuss your event. An in-person meeting is preferred to a phone meeting unless you reside out-of-town or have a limited amount of time. At the initial meeting, we will discuss all aspects of your event and ideas for floral arrangements including size, flower, color, and vase/container choice.

How soon after the meeting will I receive an estimate?
You will receive a unique estimate for your event within a week of your meeting.

What should I bring to an initial meeting to discuss flowers?
Plan to bring a basic overview of your day and a list (approximate) of your needs. Additionally, please bring anything you’d like lilly lane to see and consider as we design flowers for your event, including linen choice, photos of your venue, photos of colors or pieces that you like, fabric or photos of bridesmaid dresses, and so forth.

Can I see photographs or samples of work?
Yes! In addition to the photos found in the gallery, you may visit our Facebook page. We can also show you specific photos at an initial meeting based on work we have done in your color palette or at your event venue.

Do you charge any additional fees beyond the flowers?
There is a per-location delivery fee that includes all set-up and transport between locations, if needed.

What is your delivery policy?
Our per-location delivery fee includes all set-up and transport between locations, if needed. The coordinator for your wedding or event will personally attend your set-up and handle all placements to ensure perfection.

I need to cancel, postpone, or reschedule my event. Help!
Should you need to cancel your event, you will be charged a percentage of your accepted estimate amount based on the date of cancellation. All other payments above that amount will be refunded. For events that are postponed or rescheduled, lilly lane will not charge any change fees so long as your event stays within one year of the original date.

What is your payment policy?

Can I make changes to my designs after I sign a contract?
